ABOUT

Oliver Egger is an Assistant Editor at Wesleyan University Press, The Kim-Frank Fellow in Creative Writing at Wesleyan’s Shapiro Center for Creative Writing and Criticism, and a Contributing Writer at The Boston Globe and The Provincetown Independent.
He is the editor of I Said That Love Heals From Inside: Love Poems of Yusef Komunyakaa (Wesleyan University Press, 2024) and The Route 9 Anthology: A Collection of Writing from Wesleyan University Students, Faculty, Staff, & Middlesex County Residents (Wesleyan, 2022). He is the founder of The Route 9 Literary Collective.
His poetry can be found in The Florida Review, The California Quarterly, Oyster River Pages, The 2023 CT Literary Anthology, and elsewhere. He was selected as a 2023 Connecticut Student Poet by the Connecticut Poetry Circuit.

He is a graduate of Wesleyan University class of 2023 and was born and raised in Durham, NC.
